The capital of Tonga, Nuku'alofa, is located on the main island of Tongatapu. It means "THE BOAT OF LOVE". Our capital now has a population of over 25,000. There is 1 car for every 50 people! The celebration of the new millennium will take place in the capital. People from the outer islands will come here to celebrate!
